CBCA AWARDS FOUNDATION SILENT AUCTION
The closing date for bids is November 22 !
Lionel is a really unique illustrated bear, illustrated in the Bigambul style of art work by Dub Leffler, who won the 2019 CBCA Book of the Year, Eve Pownall category for Sorry Day. Lionel will be a true collector’s item.
Over twenty Illustrated Bears have been created by many of Australia’s award-winning illustrators over the last few year to be auctioned to raise funds for the CBCA Awards Foundation, which funds the monetary prizes for the annual
CBCA Book of the Year Awards.

• Wilderness Society's Environment Award for Children's Literature - picture book The All New Must have Orange 430 (Michael Speechley, Viking); junior fiction Maxi the Lifeguard: The Stormy Protest(Trent Maxwell & David Lawrence, illus by Peter Baldwin, Affirm); and children’s nonfiction Bouncing Back: An Eastern Barred Bandicoot Story (Rohan Cleave & Coral Tulloch, CSIRO Publishing).
