This year's Escape to Everywhere promotional images are
designed by Freya Blackwood, illustrator of last year's winner of the
Picture Book section of the Book of the Year Awards.

Magabala Illustration Award
Magabala books, Australia's leading Indigenous publisher based in
Broome, is celebrating it's 30th anniversary with a call for entries to
the inaugural Kestin Indigenous Illustrator Award. The winner of the
biennial award will receive $10,000 a mentorship and the
opportunity to illustrate a children's story by renowned author and
illustrator Sally Morgan. read more
